Youth & Kids Camps

 Partner with us on Sunday, October 20th, by making it an Indiana NextGen ALL IN Give Day during your Sunday morning service

 NextGen Missions is an opportunity for students, kids, leaders, parents, and local churches to show compassion and spread the gospel through sacrificial giving.

 Current  Projects

  • GOAL: $40,000

    • Brett and Susan started serving in Cambodia in 2009. Due to the needs of this war-torn country, a children’s home was established to care for abandoned and orphaned children called the Cambodia Train Up Children’s Home. 

    • In addition to being directors for the Train-Up Children’s Home Brett and Susan are reaching out to their community by running an English Center, through which they hope to start a church someday. 

    • A vehicle is needed for the continuation of running both the Train-Up Children’s Home and the English Center.

    • The AG Foster Care Network is a group of organizations that exist to serve and support kids in foster care as well as families.​

    GOAL: $50,000

    • Their goal is to assist the church in seeing 20,000 children in U.S. foster care being cared for by our Assemblies of God churches and families.

    • COMPACT Family Services, one of its partners, is looking to launch more US missionaries and programs to help children and families in foster care.

    • AG Foster Care Network is also looking to partner with state organizations to further expand the network of available resources for children and families in foster care.

    • Since Project Rescue was founded in 1997, they have been on a mission to rescue and restore victims of sexual exploitation through the love and power of God.

    GOAL: $50,000

    • Each Project Rescue site is launched by courageous men and women of God.  All caregivers offer God’s love, liberating truth, compassionate and holistic care. 

    • Recently, one of Project Rescue's schools is being condemned due to a highway being built. The need is great to build a new school and dorms for the students and kids. 

    • Project Rescue is looking to partner with Speed the Light in building a new school, dorms, and state-of-the-art vocational training facilities to support those who have been rescued from sexual exploitation. 

    PROJECT NUMBER:
  • GOAL: $55,000  (COMPLETED)

    • This family has been serving as a missionary overseas since 2023, working with UPGs (Unreached People Groups). Due to the sensitive nature of the work in the country names remain undisclosed. 

    • Unreached People Groups are located in a geographical region referred to as the 10/40 Window, a rectangular area between the north latitude lines of 10- and 40 degrees, which encompasses North Africa, the Middle East, and all of South Asia. The 10/40 Window contains the major religious strongholds of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, and 80% of the world’s poor.

    • Speed the Light is excited to partner with this missionary and their family to provide a first-term missionary vehicle for transportation.

  • GOAL: $3,500  (COMPLETED)

    • In 2022 God called Max & Keshia Southern to the plant The Ville Church in Shelbyville, IN. They planted with the desire be a safe place for anyone to access freedom through Jesus!

    • In all of Shelby County, there was not one Assemblies of God church but there are also 28K+ individuals who are not claimed for the gospel ( in the county.

    • Speed the Light is partnering with The Ville Church to help them purchase video projectors,  screens, sound systems, and audio/visual duplicators.

  • GOAL: $3,500 (COMPLETED)

    • In 2022, God called Heath & Ashley Kain to the plant Fountain Church in LaGrange, IN which launched Easter Sunday, 2022.

    • They desire to reach, equip, and mobilize believers to do the work of the ministry and see lives transformed by pursuing His presence.

    • Speed the Light is partnering with Fountain Church to help them purchase video projectors,  screens, sound systems, and audio/visual duplicators.

  • GOAL: $1,610.25  (COMPLETED)

    • Convoy of Hope is a humanitarian, faith-based organization on a mission to feed the hungry and bring help and hope to communities that need it most.

    • Meals are the starting point to building strong, thriving communities. Therefore, Convoy of Hope’s goal is to offer nutritious food, access to clean and safe water, and knowledge of healthy environments.

    • Speed the Light is happy to partner with Convoy of Hope in providing outreach materials and ministry vehicle assistance to help reach and feed more children around the world.

  • GOAL: $46,670 

    • Train-Up Children's Home is dedicated to provide a safe place for training up children, offering them an opportunity for education, hope and the love of Jesus.

    • AGWM began doing humanitarian work in Cambodia in the year 1990. Due to the needs of this war-torn country, a children’s home was established to care for abandoned and orphaned children. 

    • BGMC is partnering with Trian-Up Children Home in Cambodia to help them meet the needs of orphans by providing meals, education, clothing, medical, and housing.

    • Their goal is to assist the church in seeing 20,000 children in U.S. foster care being cared for by our Assemblies of God churches and families.

  • GOAL: $200

    • Greg and Lisa have been serving for many years overseas, working with UPGs (Unreached People Groups). Due to the sensitive nature of their work, the country remains undisclosed.

    • BGMC is happy to partner with this church planting opportunity to provide musical instruments for a community center that teaches English and reaches people for the gospel.

  • GOAL: $2,010 (COMPLETED)

    • Africa's Children believes that every young person in Africa deserves to experience the love of Jesus.  They envision a kid-friendly church within walking distance of every child and teen in Africa.

    • Africa's Children believes those best equipped to minister to Africa’s next generation are Africans themselves. They  are committed to ministry models that encourage local involvement and ownership and which use the resources available in their context

    • BGMC is excited to partner with Africa's Children to be a part of an opportunity to build 100 church tabernacles in Africa
